18th French Wargame Championship
The French Wargame Championship follows the tradition of a pioneering event first launched in 1980. Since the beginning, its purpose has remained the same: to bring players together around a shared game system, testing strategic planning and tactical skill in an atmosphere that is both competitive and friendly. The very first featured game was Héraklios, a wargame published as an insert in Jeux & Stratégie.
18th French Wargame Championship
The game selected for the 2026 championship is Dernières Gloires — part of the Jours de Gloire system — covering three battles from 1813.
The game is currently available from VaeVictis.
The tournament will be refereed by the game’s designer, Frédéric Bey. The tournament rules will be available here soon.
